AIB has appointed the former US ambassador to Ireland, Mr Mike Sullivan, as a non-executive director of the bank. Mr Sullivan, also joins the board of AIB's US subsidiary, Allfirst. He was US ambassador to Ireland from January 1999 to June 2001 and is a former governor of the state of Wyoming.
