Ewart, the Belfast based property company, which began trading on the Irish Stock Exchange this week, has had its profit projections revised upwards. Its brokers NCB say pre tax profits are now forecast to rise to £2.6 million sterling for next year, £3.6 million in 1998 and £4.1 million in 1999.
The company says its continuing rise is partly due to the development of Lanyon Place, which is based in central Belfast and will see the BT Tower and Hilton Hotel join the now completed 2,500 seat conference and conference centre, Waterfront Hall at the river.
NCB says it expects to see Ewart's net asset value rise 30 per cent by 1999.
