A TEAM from ESB Financial Services has won the 1996 Irish Management Championships by accumulating a notional profit of £4.8 million.
The competition aims to provided experience of different management disciplines, to develop business skills and to provide tests of management abilities.
Over 100 management teams from different business sectors took part.
Mr David MacDonald, the managing director of ICL, which sponsored the competition, in association with the Irish Management Institute, said the finalists were top class managers who would inspire their organisations to face the challenges of business.
The team now goes forward to the European Championships which will be held in Portugal next month.
