Canada Life has launched an investment product, called Focus 15, which will be invested in a portfolio of 15 international equities selected for their growth potential.
The product is aimed at experienced investors and those with a higher tolerance of risk and the minimum premium is £25,000. It will have no bid/offer spread cost. The minimum market capitalisation of the fund will be $500 million and all 15 holdings will be quoted on a recognised stock exchange.
"Ownership of the fund will be similar to having a private portfolio in which investors will be able to take a keen interest - without the hassle of selecting the shares, monitoring their progress and all of the associated paperwork," Canada Life said.
A website password will allow investors to monitor the performance of the fund which is being managed by Canada Life's investment subsidiary, Setanta Asset Management.
