Four-day trade mission will visit New York, New Jersey and Boston

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton and IDA Ireland chief executive Martin Shanahan depart today for the east coast of the United States on a four-day trade mission.

The mission will visit New York, New Jersey and Boston, and the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation said it would include 19meetings and events.It will be Mr Bruton’s 29th trade mission as Minister.

The Minister is scheduled to meet 18 companies, “including some of the most established global corporate brands”, the department said.

“Multinationals continue to create jobs in Ireland and this has a knock-on positive effect on employment right across the country,” said Mr Bruton.
