Eagle Star is the best fund manager over a five-year period, according to independent research by Coyle Hamilton.

During that period Eagle Star achieved an annualised return on its investment funds of 19 per cent. This compares with an average fund return of 14.5 per cent for investors with long-term money tied up in pension and managed funds across the sector.
