FIVE directors of Waterford Wedgwood have been granted a total of 4.1 million options to buy shares in the company. The shares are exercisable at 76p each, the current market price for Waterford Wedgwood.

The chief executives of the crystal and china divisions, Mr Redmond Donoghue and Mr Brian Patterson, have each been granted one million options. Finance director Mr Richard Barnes and Mr Christopher McGillvary have each been granted 800,000 options while Mr Chris Johnson has been granted 500,000 options.
