Superquinn has said that it is still considering its response to the call from the Director of Consumer Affairs, Ms Carmel Foley, to "desist" from asking suppliers to make support payments to the company.

Ms Foley has warned the company that if it does not stop the practice before this Friday, she will institute High Court proceedings.
