LEEDS United's £16 million sterling takeover by the Caspian Group was given the go ahead by a High Court judge today.
He threw out an action by one of the three original directors of the Premiership club who claimed he had the right to first offer if the other two wanted to sell their shares.
But Mr Justice Rattee said the "real and only purpose" of Mr Peter Gilman's court petition was to make the introduction of the Caspian bid - "which may be good or bad" - impossible.
