A SITE SUGGESTED as a possible location for the proposed and now delayed National Children’s Hospital is to be offered for sale on the instructions of receiver Tom Kavanagh of Kavanagh Fennell.
Robert McNamara of agent Bannon is guiding €2.1 million for 7.51 hectares (18.55 acres) alongside the Kingswood interchange on the Naas Road in Dublin 22.
The former Interbloom facility is one of the most accessible development opportunities for sale in west Dublin.
The site has an exceptionally good profile on to both the busy Naas Road and the Dublin outer ring road, and is located only 3km from the Red Cow roundabout.
There is a warehouse on site extending to 2,700sq m (29,062sq ft) and this is flanked by two glasshouses.
Bannon says the site would suit a number of uses, including a garden centre, recycling facility or a sports centre.
The agent says there is already strong interest in the property both from Irish and UK companies.
