Charlie Cullen, the former manager of Boodles Fine Jewellery shop on Dublin's Grafton Street, and his partner Sue Gilhooley have opened their own jewellery store at the junction of Castle Market and Drury Street in Dublin 2.

The three-storey Victorian building with double frontage has a stunning fit-out and private lounge upstairs. The adjoining shop sharing the same building is to be occupied by businessman Conor Rhatigan, who is to specialise in young men's clothing. Ben Pearson of Agar Estate Agents handled the lettings.

Meanwhile, another Drury Street trader – hairdressers Davey & Davey – are to follow up on the success of their business by opening a new barbershop around the corner on Lower Stephen’s Street.
