€4.5m for Stillorgan industrial
DTZ Sherry FitzGerald is seeking €4.5 million for an industrial and office building at 15/16 Holly Avenue on Stillorgan Industrial Estate in Co Dublin. It has a gross external area of 2,035sq m (21,904sq ft) and is opposite the junction of Holly Avenue and Spruce Avenue, and close to the Luas.
Peter Lynch of the selling agent says the building will appeal to owner-occupiers, investors and developers because of its potential to generate an excellent rental income.
Londis opens in Stepaside
The Griffin Group, which operates a number of Londis stores in the Dublin area, has opened a new outlet at Stepaside in Co Dublin. The 500sq m (5,382sq ft) unit in Belarmine Plaza was developed by Castlethorn.
It is also planned to open a pharmacy, medical centre, dry cleaners and a bookmakers before Christmas.
The Griffin Group also recently opened a Londis store at Adamstown in west Dublin.
DTZ Sherry FitzGerald handled the letting in Stepaside and had been quoting a rent of €376 per sq m (€35 per sq ft) for the facility.
Cornish pasty shop signs up for Dawson St
There is a new food outlet opposite the Mansion House on Dublin’s Dawson Street. Hanley’s Cornish Pasties has taken a four-year and nine-month lease on the 15.8sq m (170sq ft) shop at a rent of close to €38,000 per annum.
The building is owned by Harris Range Ltd, a company controlled by Treasury Holdings. Arthur Ryan Property Consultants handled the letting.
