Shop and flats for €450,000

A shop and 11 flats just off Capel Street, above, in Dublin city centre goes on the market today with a guide price of only €450,000. Receiver Simon Coyle of Mazars has instructed Hooke MacDonald to handle the sale of 5 Marys Abbey, a three-storey over basement building fronting on to the Luas Red Line and three doors off Capel Street. In addition to the ground floor shop extending to 177sq m (1,905sq ft) there are 11 mainly one-bed flats and bedsits to the rear and overhead. Enda Moore of Hooke MacDonald says there is significant potential to increase the current income to between €65,000 and €70,000 per annum.

Treasury leases Wilton Plaza

Treasury Holdings has leased part of the former PwC offices at Wilton Plaza on Wilton Place in Dublin 2, which has been vacant since the accountancy firm relocated to Spencer Dock three years ago.

Triangle, the corporate advisory service, has taken an eight-year lease of 418sq m (4,500sq ft) at a rent of €18 per sq m (€20 per sq ft). Wilton Plaza has an overall floor area of 7,020sq m (75,563sq ft) and 104 car parking spaces.

Blackrock site price reduced

A redevelopment site of 0.24 of a hectare (0.6 of an acre) at Brookfield Terrace, off Carysfort Avenue in Blackrock, Co Dublin, which originally went for sale in July, 2009, at €2.75 million, has now had its asking price reduced to €950,000. Lisney is handling the sale of the site which could be used for a townhouse or duplex residential scheme.

Office space for start-ups

Start-up businesses are being offered the oppportunity to rent office space at a mere €8.80 per sq ft (€94 per sq m) in Southern Cross Business Park in Bray, Co Wicklow.

HJ Burne estate agents are handling the letting of the 85sq m (910sq ft) office unit which is also for sale at €139,000.
