McDonald's drive into Santry
Fast food operator McDonald’s are to pay a rent in the region of €145,000 for a drive-thru restaurant at Gulliver’s Retail Park in Santry, Dublin 9. The single-storey building will extend to over 358sq m (4,144sq ft) and is due to open in either September or October. It will operate round the clock and is expected to handle between 90 and 120 car-borne customers per hour at the peak.

BioMarin Iveagh Court
American pharmaceutical company BioMarin has taken a lease of a 200sq m (2,153sq ft) on the penthouse floor of Iveagh Court in Dublin 2. It will pay a headline rent of €322 per sq m for five years. O'Briens in Carrickmines
Wine retailers O’Brien’s are still on the expansion trail with plans to open a branch at The Park in Carrickmines, Dublin 18. The company already has a network of 28 stores throughout the country, having opened the first outlet in Bray in 1945. It will pay a rent of around €125,000 for a unit of 483sq m (5,198sq ft) in The Park where other traders include PC World, Heaton’s, Currys and TK Maxx.

O'Connell St shop to let
Natalie Brennan of CB Richard Ellis is quoting a rent of €55,000 for a 53sq m (570sq ft) ground-floor shop at 5 Upper O’Connell Street, close to the junction of North Earl Street in Dublin 1, and near Burger King and Cafe Kylemore.
Treasury fills Malting Tower
Treasury Holdings has lined up three more tenants to fill all the available space in its Malting Tower office development at Grand Canal Quay in Dublin 4. International wine distributors Jackson Wine Estates have leased 148sq m (1,593sq ft) on the first and second floors; mobile billing specialists, Global Billing Solutions will occupy 126sq m (1,356sq ft) while digital marketing firm Blue Cube Interactive is taking 156sq m (1,680sq ft). Jones Lang LaSalle handled the leases which will run for five years.
