IRISH companies and agencies looking for office space in Brussels will now be able to rent from the leading Dublin property company, Ellier Developments.
The company controlled by Chris Jones and Francis Rhatigan have renamed their eight-storey office block, left, at 87-91 Avenue de Cortenbergh, Ireland House.
The first tenants include IBEC, UniCredit and Imperial Tobacco.
Dublin commercial property agent Peter Brown of Brown Corrigan plans to approach Irish Government agencies, Irish companies and Irish representative bodies who are likely to be looking for office accommodation in the central business district of the city.
The plan is to impress on them the advantages and potential synergies of locating in the same building under the Ireland House brand.
The block has been extensively refurbished since being acquired by Ellier and is fitted with air conditioning, video phone, central heating, access control and car parking.
Floor plates range from 174sq m (1,873sq ft) and rents run from €149 per sq m (€11 per sq ft).
Ellier has completed a large number of residential and commercial projects since its establishment in 1993.
Its most recent project was a mixed residential and office scheme, Hanover Reach, in Dublin 4. Facebook has located its European headquarters there.
