SAVILLS will begin marketing a former distillery premises on the south side of Richmond Road in Dublin 3 today.
The agency is seeking offers over €650,000 for the property, being sold on the instructions of KPMG receiver Kieran Wallace. The complex includes two 4,190sq m (45,100sq ft) commercial listed buildings and an adjoining site of 0.089 of a hectare (0.21 of an acre). The property is zoned for mixed use.
An expired planning permission had provided for the renovation of the two-storey over basement buildings, the construction of a five-storey over basement block, two retail units and 44 homes. Jonathan Preston of Savills expects strong interest in a well-located property which could be occupied until a new planning permission is obtained.
