THE demand for shops at The Square inTallaght is holding up quite well, according to agents HWBC who have just let the former Birthdays shop to Doyle Retail Ltd at a rent of €110,000 per annum.

The UK card retailer, which closed its 14 Irish stores last March, was paying a rent of €133,000 per annum for the 120sq m (1,292sq ft) store in Tallaght. HWBC acted for the landlord; CBRE advised the tenant.
