MANAGEMENT:BUILDING MATERIALS group CRH is shaking up its US management with a series of changes involving existing personnel.

The Irish group said yesterday that Doug Black, chief executive of its Americas materials division, was taking on the newly-created position of president and chief operating officer of Oldcastle Inc, CRH’s US holding company. He will report to Mark Towe, the chief executive of Oldcastle.

Mr Black has been with the group since 1995, and has held a number of management posts.

Randy Lake will succeed Mr Black as chief executive of the group’s Americas materials division. He is chief executive of Americas Building Solutions, which is focused on strategic and national accounts. Mr Lake has been with Oldcastle since 1996.

Keith Haas will become chief executive of an expanded Americas Building Products group. He joined Oldcastle in 1995 and has worked in a number of management jobs in distribution and other activities. Bob Feury will continue as chief executive of Americas distribution.
