THE CC GROUP is to move its headquarters to a new high profile office building fronting the Stillorgan dual-carriageway at The Grange. The group will rent 1,100sq m (11,840sq ft) on two floors of the five-storey block which has been completed by Ray Grehan's company, Glenkerrin Developments.
The distinctive building at the front of Glenkerrin's high quality apartment scheme has 4,154sq m (44,713sq ft) and 57 underground car-parking spaces accessed from a slip road off the N11. The entrance is particularly impressive, passing a cascading waterfall and then past a beautifully landscaped external courtyard which runs right up to the front door.
The CC Group will occupy the second floor, moving from its existing headquarters in Kylemore Park, Dublin 10. The launch tenant is likely to have secured some discount on the quoting rent of €300 per sq m (€27.87 per sq ft). The three floors above CC have superb views towards the Wicklow Mountains on one side and the city centre on the other. The third and fourth floors have large external terrace areas ideal for corporate receptions or as staff chill-out areas.
The building has been finished to a particularly high specification and includes marble flooring, American walnut panelling and a chilled beam air-conditioning system. The design, by architects O'Mahony Pike, also includes polished reconstituted stone panels and superb external glazing.
Helen Faley of letting agent Savills HOK says the building is ideally designed and located for companies who want to project a strong corporate profile and provide a pleasant and efficient working environment for their staff. The Stillorgan quality bus corridor - arguably the best in Dublin - is outside the front door and bus services on the adjoining Brewery Road provide access to Blackrock Dart station and the Luas at Sandyford.
