Four of the properties are in Cork – one on the South Mall – while the others are in Carlow, Kilkenny, Dundalk, Longford and Naas.

ACC is also opening new branches in Cork, Kilkenny, Waterford and Limerick. Dublin commercial property firm HWBC is co-ordinating the sales.

That agency is quoting an AMV of €1.75 million for the building at 41 South Mall which is to go to auction on April 30th. The waterfront property has a floor area of 418sq m (4,500sq ft) and occupies a pivotal position with a return frontage on to South Mall. The completion of the boardwalk and the refurbishment of the first World War memorial have greatly enhanced this section of the South Mall. Joint agents are Keane Mahony Smith.

HWBC is quoting €750,000 for two adjoining properties at 99 and 100 South Main Street in Bandon, Co Cork which are to be offered for sale by private treaty. The three-storey former bank building has an enclosed yard to the rear while number 99 is a four-storey derelict building. They will be sold in one or two lots with the aid of joint agents Cahalane Skuse.

In Mallow, the ACC building at 58 South Main Street is close to Market Square shopping centre where Dunnes Stores is the anchor tenant. Adjoining traders include Lifestyle Sports and Heatons. The guide here is €550,000 and the joint agent is Andrew Moore Co.

The agents are suggesting a price of €900,000 for a two-storey detached former ACC building at Green Lane in Carlow which stands on a town centre zoned site of 0.22 of an acre. Sothern Real Estate Alliance are joint agents.

In Kilkenny, a marginally lower guide of €850,000 is being quoted for 7 Parliament Street which has 269sq m (2,900sq ft) of office accommodation in the heart of the city. It is close to Market Cross shopping centre. Sherry Fitz-Gerald McCreevy will also be handling the private treaty sale.
