A distinctive commercial building at 3 Trinity Street in Dublin 2, owned by the same family since it was built in 1896, goes on sale today through agents JLL.

Daniel Carty of JLL is seeking offers in excess of €675,000 for the four- storey over basement mid-terrace building, which was developed by Frank Dillon, a great uncle of the vendors.

The vacant premises has an overall floor area of 200sq m (2,154 sq ft) and traded recently as hairdressing salon.

The building retains many of its original features, including a vault at basement level, a mahogany staircase and a number of period mantelpieces.
