CityJet has signed a ticket sales and marketing agreement with Air UK which will come into effect on March 31st. Under the terms of the deal Air UK will market CityJet's London to Dublin flights in Britain and the rest of the world. It appears that the deal with Air UK will replace an existing code sharing agreement with Aer Lingus which runs out on March 30th. CityJet will hope that the new deal boosts its share of London originating traffic on the route of City Airport.
Following its recent restructuring, some 42 per cent of CityJet is now owned by the Scandinavian regional airline Malmo.
