The Central Bank has published another notice in national newspapers advising the public that a named company operating as a investment business is not authorised to do so. The notice is understood to be the sixth of its kind since August, when the Bank was given the power to publish such advice in newspapers. In yesterday's notice the Bank said Quantum Financial Group, Panama, is operating as an investment business. The company is not authorised to act as an investment business.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated notice published yesterday, the Central Bank advises that, at the request of the company, it has revoked the authorisation of New Ireland Investment Managers Ltd, Dawson St., Dublin. It is understood this is a purely technical notice, published by request.
