Dublin-based CBT Systems, the US Nasdaq quoted provider of education software, has announced a $5.7 million (€5.2 million) contract with Compaq Computer, the leading supplier of computer systems.

Under the three year deal, CBT will provide interactive education software to Compaq employees. They will have access to 500 courses from CBT's library of software education titles, and Compaq has already opted to use courseware that supports Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, and Lotus products.
