Cawley Nea has won the 10th annual Advertising Agency of the Year award organised by Marketing magazine

Cawley Nea has won the 10th annual Advertising Agency of the Year award organised by Marketing magazine. The Dublin-based agency, which was founded by Mr Chris Cawley and Mr David Nea, is one of the few Irish agencies which is still wholly Irish owned.

The agency's pre-tax profits last year were up 92 per cent with billings of £22.5 million (€28.6 million). New accounts for the agency include Boru Vodka, Cellular 3's Imagine and Dairygold's Mitchelstown Cheese. In December, it was added to AIB's agency roster.

This year's two runners-up were Chemistry, whose accounts include Chorus and Meteor, and DDFH&B, which has Baileys, Smirnoff Ice, Smirnoff and Nestle Smarties.
