Cambridge professor, Frederik Galtung, who compiled a survey for Transparency International, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to fighting corruption around the world, found Ireland to be the 16th least corrupt in his international assessment. Prof Galtung appears on Agenda on Sunday (TV3, noon) to talk about his conclusions.
The second programme of the Mind Your Own Business (Sunday, 10.50 p.m., RTE1) series features Jurys Ballsbridge and a Shannon-based manufacturer of bulk and finished pharmaceuticals, SIFA. The programme looks at how the two companies deal with the SIPTU Adapt programme aimed at improving links between management and workers.
Dot.what? (Monday, 8.30 p.m., RTE1) meets entrepreneur John J May, whose company `Day You Were Born' is seeking a £5 million (€6.35 million) investment to launch its business on the web. Mr May spoke at the First Tuesday club, which organises events for start-ups, in an attempt to get funds. The programme meets key First-Tuesday organiser, David Neville and Tom Byrne of Davy Stockbrokers to get the low-down on the organisation.
