THE overall impact on business of the recent Budget will be largely neutral, according to a survey of member companies by, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
The survey showed that 71 per cent of companies saw the Budget as having "little effect" on their business, with 21 per cent reporting "no effect". Only 7 per cent of companies saw the Budget as being "very positive". Small companies were generally more positive than larger companies.
Among individual issues, changes in PRSI and corporation tax were most welcomed, although companies generally were lukewarm as to the effect the changes would have on their business.
