Bord Gβis will appeal a decision by the Inland Revenue to pursue its British subsidiary for £36 million sterling (€58.7 million) in back taxes.

It is understood the tax authorities is pursuing BGE UK Ltd for capital allowances that it said the company was not entitled to claim.
