The heavily-indebted Barlo radiators and plastics group has sold its strapping business in Newbridge, Co Kildare, to ITW Ireland, the Irish subsidiary of the US group ITW. Barlo is selling the business and also the "sealstrap" trade and other assets to ITW, but will retain ownership of the site in Newbridge from which the business operates.
