Bank of Ireland announced yesterday that it had joined the IBOS association, an alliance of international banks which provides cross-border services to corporate customers. The bank stated that being part of the association would generate referral business from customers wanting to do business in the State.
IBOS, founded in 1994, has 15 members including Credit Commercial de France, HypoVereinsbank of Germany and Holland's ING Bank. Its US members include Bank One and First Union National Bank.
