AIB has launched a task force to assess the requirements of women in business. The task force, under chairwoman Ms Jane Williams, managing director of management consultants Commencements, will examine the core banking-related issues facing women in business.

Launching the task force, AIB chief executive Mr Tom Mulcahy said he believed it was now appropriate to "to consider afresh the core issues which face female business practitioners and in turn review AIB's policy towards this important part of our customer base".
