Aer Rianta has taken legal proceedings against low-cost airline Ryanair in a row over airport charges. The High Court has agreed to hear an application by the State airports authority next Monday for an injunction stopping Ryanair from claiming that airport charges have risen and that charges for cancelled flights and unused tickets cannot be refunded because they are paid to Aer Rianta in any event.
Aer Rianta says airport charges have not been increased in 2001 and insists it collects no charges for cancelled flights or unused tickets.
