HOUSEBUILDlNG in Britain is enjoying considerably improved trading conditions, Abbey's executive chairman, Mr Charles H. Gallagher, told the company's a.g.m. yesterday. Both prices and volume were up and margins were recovering. The company's Irish housebuilding operation continued to do well, the chairman said.
