MEROPS Ireland, the Dublin-based pet food maker, has secured a £5 million contract to supply all Tesco's UK and Irish stores with Tesco brand cat food products.

The Irish-owned company, which employs 70 people at its Ballymount manufacturing facility, already supplies products to Tesco and other clients around Europe and recently invested £2.5 million in a new production line.
