Wind energy firm Eirtricity yesterday said it had signed contracts worth more than £20 million (€25.4 million) since it started trading in the partly liberalised market.
Its managing director, Dr Eddie O'Connor, said many of the "teething problems" the company had with the provision of information by the ESB were being resolved.
Eirtricity had more than 5,000 customers in the small- and medium-sized business sector.
