Four Greenpeace activists are staging a protest on the rooftop of British Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott's home.

A spokesman for Greenpeace said the group were attempting to install a solar panel on the roof of his constituency home in Hull in a bid to highlight the Government's record on energy.

A Greenpeace spokesman said up to 20 activists were involved in the protest. "We have unveiled a banner which says 'Oi Two Jags. Hit Targets, Not Voters'."

It is not known if Mr Prescott is at home.
