Defender Peter Barry broke a thumb in training and is very doubtful for the All-Ireland hurling semi-final with Galway next month. Should he fail to make it he will be a big loss for last year's All-Ireland finalists.

Midfielder Ciaran Whelan is Dublin's main concern ahead of Sunday's Leinster football final against Kildare. He has been slow to shake off an injury which has thus far limited his championship participation. Consequently, the team selection may be delayed until later in the week.
Kildare SF
Although Martin Lynch remains a worry, manager Mick O'Dwyer is hopeful he will have recovered from an ankle strain in time for Sunday. John Finn, who was also withdrawn through injury in the semi-final win over Offaly, is on the mend and is expected to be available for selection when the team is picked tonight.
However, Karl O'Dwyer is unlikely to be named as he still has not recovered from the broken finger which sidelined him for the two matches against Offaly. The pin is due to be removed from his finger this week.
