POKER SCHOOL provided former champion Christy Roche with his 26th success this season after the pair survived a stewards' inquiry following the Bailey's Maiden at Dundalk last evening.
Charles O'Brien's son of Night Shift hit the front past front running market rival Puzzled Airs two furlongs out and after idling under pressure, drifted back towards the running rail, forcing Mick Kinane to switch his filly to the outer to mount a renewed challenge.
The winner is declared for tomorrow's sixrunner Conrad International Dublin Silver Stakes at the Curragh and Roche said: "I'd say he will run. He didn't like it when I gave him a crack or two out in front but he did enough."
