Mayo 1-11 Sligo 1-10 Sean Stenson saved Mayo's blushes with a last-gasp point in this action-packed Connacht Minor Football Championship semi-final at Markievicz Park on Saturday.
The Castlebar clubman opened Mayo's account after three minutes of the first half, put his side six points clear with three frees early in the second half and capped a fine game with the winning point. Mayo led by six points to three at half time.
