Aidan O'brien's Shahtoush is set to miss the Kildangan Stud Irish Oaks but Bahr, the filly she beat in the Epsom Oaks, will be supplemented for the race at a cost of £25,000.

"Shahtoush is unlikely to run in the Irish Oaks. We will give her a short break and have a look at the Yorkshire Oaks. Star Begonia and Kitza are both possibles," said O'Brien yesterday.

Bahr won the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot after Epsom, and the Godolphin spokesman Simon Crisford said: "We'll finalise plans early next week, but Bahr has taken her Ascot race well and at this stage is an intended runner. She seems to handle most types of ground."

The going at the Curragh is currently yielding.
