Sending off sparks Dublin revival

Fourteen-man Dublin dumped Wexford out of the Leinster junior football championship at Nowlan Park yesterday

Fourteen-man Dublin dumped Wexford out of the Leinster junior football championship at Nowlan Park yesterday. Dublin trailed 0-6 to 1-4 at half-time, and after conceding another point within seconds of the re-start they then had stylish forward Paul Jamison sent off. But they suddenly clicked and they held their opponents scoreless for the rest of the match. John McNally engineered an opening in the 43rd minute and wing back Coman Goggins charged through to score a brilliant goal. Wexford's goal had come in the 12th minute from Tomas Kavanagh.
