Racing: Ultra-tough Peak To Creek can notch his fourth success on the bounce and his sixth of the season overall in the Vodafone Horris Hill Stakes at Newbury today.

He has been a real credit to trainer Jeremy Noseda and his efforts recently show that a long campaign has not yet taken it toll.

His latest victory came in what looked a decent renewal of the Rockingham Stakes at York a couple of weeks ago.

Coming late on the scene as usual, he held on gamely for Pat Eddery for a head success from Mac Love with Blue Tomato, who is a useful yardstick, in third.

Peak To Creek has yet to race over seven furlongs but his style of racing suggests it will not be a problem and neither will the prevailing fast ground.

If anything, he seems to have improved of late and he landed a big pot prior to his run on the Knavesmire when he took the Redcar Two-Year-old Trophy.
