Sonia O'Sullivan arrived in the Hungarian capital last evening and confirmed that she will compete in the final of the 10,000 metres championship tomorrow as a prelude to her challenge for 5,000 metres honours.

The composition of the 10,000 field has yet to be clarified, but it will include the reigning Olympic and European champion, Fernando Ribiero of Portugal, and Britain's Paula Radcliffe.
