Connacht 14 Rotherham Titans 15

CONNACHT concluded their pre-season games with a one-point loss to Rotherham Titans at the Galway Sportsground last evening.

Two first-half tries were insufficient to see off the English first division outfit as the visitors struck for an injury-time try to steal the game at the end.

Connacht looked comfortable and were deserving of their 14-0 lead at the break after both hooker Sean Cronin and lock Dave Nolan had touched down, with outhalf Ian Keatley adding the two conversions. However the Titans hit back with a 51st minute try to centre Nick Buckley and a penalty and try completed the comeback.
