SECURITY officials have asked athletes not to hang their national flags outside the windows of their apartments in the Olympic Village, so as not to make them easy targets for terrorists.

With the same security fears in mind, the official street plan gives only the outline of the Georgia Tech campus, without giving details of walkways.
