Four Masters 0-13 Cavan Gaels 0-11Donegal champions Four Masters made it to the Ulster Club semi-final with a thrilling replay victory over Cavan Gaels in Ballybofey yesterday. Trailing 0-8 to 0-4 at the break, the Donegal town side were worthy winners in the end.

They were made fight all the way by Cavan Gaels and did not take the lead until seven minutes from the end, thanks to the accuracy of Michael Doherty. Indeed, this young Four Masters side have a winning habit. Karl Lacey and Barry Dunnion have got call-ups to the Donegal senior squad and Lacey celebrated with three points after moving into the attack in the second half.

It looked good for the Gaels at the break and Cormac Nelligan powered them in front with six points, but they found the going tough when playing against the breeze, especially when Shane Carr was moved to midfield.
