Donegal SFC Final: Four Masters 0-15 Termon 0-9 Four Masters bridged a 19-year gap by lifting the Donegal senior crown with an easy victory at MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey, yesterday.
Termon, appearing in their first final, did not perform. Although they scored first, by half-time they were 0-8 to 0-3 in arrears with a mountain to climb. That mountain became eight points with 10 minutes left and the game was over as a contest.
County stars Barry Monaghan and Shane Carr were dominant for the winners, while Karl Lacey gave county manager Brian McEniff food for thought with an outstanding display at half back. Termon never threatened to get the goals that had been their trademark during the campaign.
