WHATEVER THE rights and wrongs of the situation in Limerick hurling, the biggest losers are not the management or the players or the County Board officials . . . but those working at juvenile and club level who must be left wondering what on earth is going on.
It seems things have never been better at club or underage level in the county, which is saying something considering the inroads rugby has made in the region. But you have to wonder how long that seemingly healthy situation – away from the inter-county team – will remain if the current impasse goes on for much longer.
