Munster Club FC: Kilkee - 1-8 Drom Broadford 2-4 An injury-time goal by Dromcollogher-Broadford's Tommy Stack yesterday failed to halt Kilkee's passage to the semi-final of the Munster football championship.
Entering the final quarter of the game in Doonbeg, the Limerick champions were trailing by 0-7 to 0-4 when a soft goal brought them back into contention. Pat Donnelly's free kick deceived the Kilkee defence and levelled matters.
But the Clare club replied with a Michael O'Shea goal to restore their lead. Michael Keane added a point before Stack grabbed Drom-Broadford's second goal with the last kick of the game.
