Wexford Hurling: Glynn-Barntown qualified for their first senior hurling championship final with a 1-12 to 1-8 victory over St Anne's in their semi-final at Wexford Park yesterday.

Tommy Kehoe helped Glynn-Barntown see off the south county side's challenge for it was his 10th-minute goal which settled his side and they took a 1-8 to 1-3 lead into the interval.

Rathnure are still on course to retain their title after they saw off Buffers Alley on a 3-12 to 1-10 scoreline in the second semi-final at the same venue.

Having led 1-7 to 0-5 at the interval, the goal coming from corner forward Seán O'Neill, it was the holders who went on to control the second period.
